Job description

We are looking for a Credit Risk Controller to join our Risk Control team in Tallinn. As a Credit Risk Controller, you’ll take care of credit risk area control activities within Inbank Group (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and the Czech Republic). It’s your responsibility to coordinate the work in the field of credit risk control by monitoring, evaluating and reporting the credit quality and developing the credit risk management framework. You’ll also collaborate with many internal and external partners in matters relating to credit risk and ensure that all processes are efficient and in compliance with regulations.

What You’ll be doing:

  • Perform regular risk monitoring and reporting in the area of credit and business risk
  • Be responsible for expected credit loss (ECL) related methodology and regular recalculation of ECL according to IFRS 9
  • Manage ICAAP in the area of credit risk and business risk
  • Ensure compliance with different regulations in the area of credit and business risk
  • Organise and actively participate in the Credit Committee meetings
  • Take responsibility to improve efficiency and reduce complexity in processes

Job requirements

  • 2-3 years of previous work experience in the credit risk management/credit risk modelling area
  • Knowledge and experience in the area of IFRS 9
  • Experience and interest in different ad-hoc data analysis and willingness to learn new things
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to take ownership of projects assigned
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office with expertise in Excel, knowledge of SQL is considered a bonus
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Estonian
