Banking is moving out of banks and becoming a part of customers’ daily digital lives. Inbank’s financing solutions are embedded seamlessly into the shopping journey of 5,000+ retailers. This helps our merchant partners to grow their businesses while end customers get to benefit from a frictionless shopping experience wherever they are. With a focus on innovation and growth, we are looking for talented people to join our team of 300+ people working across our offices in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and the Czech Republic.

And due to our ambitious growth plans we are looking for a New Business Development Manager to lead our market entry into Italy.

What's in it for you?

Within this role you would pioneer our business growth and develop partnerships with local merchants and clients, and establish a presence within the Italian market. After establishing the successful entry and launch of Inbank's offerings within Italy, you can develop further and grow our local entity and eventually you can grow the local organization where you deem fit and carry the responsibility for our presence across the region.

What will you be doing?

  • Managing Building business in Italy and seeking out new business opportunities across the region

  • Implementing Inbank’s embedded finance strategy in Italy by identifying promising partners and driving acquisition strategies

  • Build client and partner relationships across new and existing companies

  • Testing our value proposal with fitting merchants and business verticals

  • Develop a full understanding of the capabilities, benefits, and competitive advantages of Inbank's product offerings

  • Building and maintaining professional relationships with business enablers (group’s shared services - legal, finance, risk, IT, Operations departments)

  • Playing a key part in opening of Inbank’s Italian branch and establishing needed functions and processes

Job requirements

What do you need to have to be successful?

As this is a new role in a new market for Inbank, we understand that you might not have all the requirements we look for, but ideally you must have the following:

  • 5+ years of business development background in financing (B2B, B2C)

  • Ideally you have experience with retail lending, preferably unsecured retail lending

  • You have a growth mindset, and rather build the structure that fits best practices

  • In depth knowledge of the consumer finance landscapes and its processes

  • Proven experience with launching into new markets and products

  • Commercial leadership experience in scaling new businesses

  • You are proficient in Italian and English
